TBA to deliver two presentations at TOC Americas in Panama City

We are pleased to announce that TBA will be represented on stage at this year’s TOC Americas in Panama City, delivering talks focusing on our flagship terminal operating systems, Autostore TOS and CommTrac.  

Running from 1st - 3rd October, TOC Americas is the region's highest profile conference and exhibition for the maritime-port and logistics industry. The three-day event features speakers from around the world covering key themes such as business intelligence, digitalisation and sustainabililty. TBA’s two presentations will feature as part of the TECH TOC strand, which provides technical discussions on technologies and solutions for ports, terminals, and the supply chain. 

Wim Verdonck will be representing the container terminal operating system (TOS) side of the business. As Head of TOS, he will be speaking about innovations in container terminal optimisation. “I’m really excited to be attending TOC Americas,” said Verdock. “It looks set to be a great event and I’m delighted to be sharing some of our learnings and experience on this important topic.” 

CommTrac’s Head of Business Development, Mo Dualeh, will be taking to the stage to speak on the subject of ‘finding the data capture sweet spot’ when scoping out a bulk TOS. “We regularly hear from our customers about challenges they face establishing clear project objectives for their TOS projects,” explained Dualeh. “So, I’m really looking forward to presenting our insight into how terminals can revolutionise their operations and achieve substantial business enhancements.” 

The conference agenda also includes three presentations from our parent company, Konecranes. Tuomo Korkeaviita, Offer Manager RTG Cranes, will be speaking on operational continuity and sustainable intermodel operations, while Paco Pruden, Director, Product Support AME, will be exploring the topic of safety in mobile port equipment. Konecranes will also be exhibiting at the event and you'll find them at booth B16.
