TBA has been shortlisted for two categories at the upcoming International Bulk Journal (IBJ) Awards. The ceremony, which celebrates excellence across the global maritime bulk industry, will take place in Liverpool in November.

TBA has been nominated in the IT Solutions Award category – an accolade the company is no stranger to, having secured the title an impressive seven times in the past. This nomination highlights TBA’s continued commitment to delivering world-class software and digital solutions, specifically their bulk and general cargo terminal operating system, CommTrac.

In addition, TBA has been jointly shortlisted with long-standing customer Peel Ports for the Technology Innovation Award. This joint nomination recognises the close collaboration between the two organisations in delivering forward-thinking solutions that are helping to transform port operations and set new benchmarks for innovation in the industry.

“It’s a real honour to be nominated for not just one, but two IBJ Awards this year," said Managing Director, Chris Hicks. "The IT Solutions Award is particularly close to our hearts, as it reflects the hard work our team consistently delivers to ensure our customers benefit from reliable, cutting-edge technology."

Commercial Director, David Trueman, agreed: "I'm delighted to see CommTrac once more recognised by the IBJ Awards. The joint nomination with Peel Ports for the Technology Innovation Award underlines the strength of our partnerships and our shared drive to push boundaries in the sector. We are proud of what we’ve achieved together and are looking forward to celebrating with industry peers in Liverpool.”

The IBJ Awards bring together leaders and innovators from across the globe, recognising outstanding achievements and setting the standard for the bulk industry’s future.
