Job Description

TBA Group is part of a multi-national group of companies and promotes a creative and dynamic work environment and is looking to recruit a C# .net Developer to reinforce our Terminal Operating System back-end development team in Satu Mare (Romania) - we will consider remote working opportunities for the right candidate.. Does developing software for container terminals all over the world seem like an interesting job? We will be considering experienced and junior developers for this opportunity so do not hesitate to inquire.
After an initial training period, you will work within one of our Scrum development teams and report to a team leader. You will be responsible for development and design of code as well as maintenance and support of selected existing applications. You should expect to also become involved in both the implementation and support of our systems, gaining exposure to the full software product lifecycle. There will be occasions where you may need to visit and work in our offices in the UK.

What are we looking for?

Over the next few years, we expect you to grow into a .NET developer that actively contributes to the further development of our Terminal Operating System product. Any experience in working with micro-services architecture, DevOps culture (continuous integration/continuous deployment techniques) and tools such as Docker and Docker Swarm would be beneficial.


In addition, if you have any JavaScript, Data Warehousing, or exposure to monitoring tools such as InfluxDB, Grafana, Telegraf this would be useful. 

  • Experience in software development
  • C# Programming Language
  • Microsoft .Net Core
  • Entity Framework Core
  • Domain Driven Design/Development
  • Experience and appreciation of Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio & Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Database Systems
  • Web APIs, RESTful, SOAP
  • Message broker technologies (e.g ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
  • The ability to apply previous experience to new problems and to estimate work accurately.
  • Source control using Git
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and verbally
  • You may also have experience in release and deployments of complex, multi-layered systems and NoSQL databases like MongoDB

    Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new and maintain existing features within the software products, working as part of a team within the Scrum development framework.
  • Maintain and improve code quality, development tools, and processes.
  • Work from user stories, user acceptance criteria, and test plans, following a test-driven development approach.
  • Present to and liaise with stakeholders during Sprint Reviews.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
