Job Description

TBA Group is a leading international provider of software and services for ports, terminals and warehouses with over 150 live installations worldwide. We are looking for a HR Director who will play a key role in the expansion of our business by ensuring that TBA is an inspirational company to work for and empowers people to be their best. You will be leading the HR activities for the TBA Group, collaborating closely with the original founders, business line directors. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with global/regional HR teams at our parent company Konecranes and the Business Area Port Solutions.

Delivering high quality customer-facing and internal projects.

You will ideally hold a university degree in an appropriate subject and have industry experience.

    Job Description

    TBA Group has close to 300 talented team members located in offices in the Netherlands (Delft), United Kingdom (Leicester and Doncaster), Romania (Satu Mare) and Germany (Dusseldorf).

    Skills and Experience

  • A university degree related to Human Resource Management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in all-round HR role at a software/IT company
  • Knowledge of Dutch Labour Laws
  • Experience working in an international setting
  • Ability to work at a strategic, tactical, and operational level
  • Open and strong communicator
  • Coaching skills
  • Change management skills
  • Pragmatic and can-do approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • High sense of integrity
  • Ability to deal effectively with multiple projects / tasks at the same time

  • Key Responsibilities

  • We are looking for an all-round HR professional who can combine HR strategy, tactical expertise and hands on HR activities when needed.

  • In this role you will:

  • Be part of the TBA Group management team and HR sparring partner on both tactical and strategic level.
  • Have a strong focus on Learning & Development, Continuous Performance Development and Leadership Development as retention of our talent and our culture is a key priority.
  • Lead and execute several global HR processes (talent processes, succession planning, employee engagement surveys, etc) together with the global talent team.
  • Be overall responsible for recruitment and onboarding tech talent, ensuring everyone feels included and part of our international and diverse team as quickly as possible
  • Implement compensation and benefits practices in line with business strategy and company culture supported by the expertise of the Konecranes Compensation and Benefits team.
  • Support the collection and analysis of HR KPI (eNPS) and figures.
  • Be point of contact for employees for HR queries.
  • Support our managers with employee relations and labour law topics in Netherlands and liaising with local/regional HR team members in Romania, Germany and UK on these matters.
  • Be point of contact for Works Council in the Netherlands.
  • Help maintain an accurate, compliant, and up to date HR and payroll administration (SuccessFactors, Lattice, NMBRS) supported by an excellent HR admin team and regional HR support from Konecranes.
