What are we looking for?

As a Business Analyst at TBA, you will be working on software projects aimed at making complex port operations simple to manage. We believe that simplicity lies at the heart of performance of container and bulk terminals. The mission of the functional expert is to deliver a high value solution to our customers.

Requirements analysis

Ability to define technical requirements for developers so they understand how the software operates

Be able to understand industrial supply chains and identify improvements to process

Prioritizing work for the development team

Ports and terminals or relevant industrial operation knowledge/Vessel planning/Control room – knowledge you pass on to developers for them to use

Understanding of user experience and software development flows.

Working with stakeholders/customers to define and refine requirements

Communication

Organizational skills

Time management

About the role

In this Business Analyst role you are part of a team that forms the connection between customer and our development teams on a functional and technical level. Here we translate customer requirements into use cases and packages of work for our development teams. Designing and documenting requirement specifications for large scale automated terminals is an important part of your role.

Our Business Analysts also lead or facilitate many of the technical discussions, internally and with customers. In this role you will be a fundamental member of the product road-map team identifying ways we can help our customers improve their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing use cases

Raising defects

Producing process flow documents

Running projects with clients

Running meetings and conveying outcomes in a simple manner

Updating customers on progress

Presenting findings and business updates on progress

User testing (functionality) systems with new releases – manual test

Working closely with internal stakeholders i.e. Developers, Project Managers, QA/Testing teams to ensure they have the knowledge to build the software

During the delivery phase you will be conduct onsite testing of on-site equipment in combination with our software and the training of end-users.
